Frequency Asked Questions

Cannabidiol (CBD) is an organic compound and is one of at least 85 cannabinoids contained in the Cannabis Sativa plant. It is an important phytocannabinoid, which corresponds to 40% of the cannabis plant extract and is used in a wide range of medical applications. In the same category belongs tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis which also causes the well-known "high" sensation. However, unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive. Due to its medical functions, the use of Cannabidiol in consumer products has been legalized since 2017 in Greece. Despite its presence in the cannabis plant, cannabidiol is not a drug and is not addictive, thus being suitable for consumption by children, elderly persons and also animals.
  • May reduce pain

The human body has a specialized system called the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is
involved in regulating a variety of functions, such as sleep, appetite, pain, and the immune system.
This system produces endocannabinoids, which are neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid
receptors in the nervous system. Studies have shown that CBD can help reduce chronic pain by
affecting the activity of endocannabinoid receptors, reducing inflammation and interacting with
neurotransmitters.

  • May help with anxiety and depression

Anxiety and depression are usually treated with medications that can cause various side effects such
as drowsiness, agitation, insomnia, sexual dysfunction and headache. CBD oil, on the other hand,
seems to be a promising treatment for both depression and anxiety, prompting many who live with
these disorders to invest in its use. In a study conducted in Brazil, a dose of 300 mg CBD was shown
to significantly reduce stress, while in another study in children with post-traumatic stress it reduced
insomnia and anxiety. In animal studies, CBD oil had antidepressant benefits. The above is due to the
property of CBD to act on the brain receptors for serotonin, which as we know affects mood and
social behavior.

  • May alleviate the symptoms associated with cancer

CBD can help reduce cancer-related symptoms and cancer-related side effects, such as nausea,
vomiting, and pain.

  • May have neuroprotective properties

Many researchers believe that the ability of CBD to act on the endocannabinoid system and other
signaling systems in the brain may offer benefits to those with neurological disorders. In particular,
one of the most studied uses of CBD is in the treatment of neurological disorders such as epilepsy and multiple sclerosis. Although research in this area is still relatively new, several studies have shown promising results.

  • May help with heart health

Recent studies have linked CBD to many benefits for the heart and circulatory system, including
lowering high blood pressure. The reason, according to scientists, is that the capacities of CBD that
reduce stress are those that help lower blood pressure.

CBD can be consumed in different ways and is available in a wide variety of products that have
different uses. Such products are the following:

      1.  CBD oils, are products that are administered orally and have a special dispenser (dropper).
        They are really effective products.
      2. CBD flowers are products that are smoked or vaped.
      3. Edible CBD products, such as chocolates, cookies, chewing gum, lollipops, spaghetti, flour,
        oil, etc.
      4.  Beverages with CBD, such as beers, energy drinks, tea, etc.
      5.  CBD Capsules
      6.  Cosmetics with CBD, such as creams, waxes, lip balms, etc., for topical skin use.

The use of Cannabidiol CBD is completely safe and lega,l in essence it is a dietary supplement. Does
not contain any psychoactive elements and does not act on the body as a drug or cause addiction.
Therefore it is completely harmless to use and can only be beneficial as it can help in a huge number
of diseases and ailments.

Cannabinoids are natural compounds found in cannabis plants. There are dozens of compounds
including Cannabidiol (CBD),  Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), Cannavigerol (CBG), Cannabichromine
(CBN), Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THCA) and a host of other cannabinoids. Cannabidiol (CBD) and
its sister cannabinoid compounds are classified as phytocannabinoids, meaning that they are derived
from plants. But there are also various other types of cannabinoids, for example cannabinoids
produced within the body’s endocannabinoid system are known as endocannabinoids (such as
arachidonoylethanolamine, virodhamine, etc.). There are also cannabinoids made by chemical
reactions in laboratories known as synthetic cannabinoids.
Our body has areas specifically made for cannabinoids, called cannabinoid receptor sites. These sites
are the endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for a numerous physiological and mental processes that occur within the body, such as appetite, pain sensation, mood, memory, and more.
The receptor sites mentioned above are two types: CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are mainly found in the brain (but also in the liver, kidneys, and lungs), while CB2 receptors are mainly found in the
immune system. Cannabinoids literally bind to these receptors in order to coordinate various
functions of the body.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is quite unique compared to other cannabinoids because it is the only
cannabinoid that can keep receptors at optimal capacity and help the body’s endocannabinoids
function. It basically helps the body absorb the good endocannabinoids and blocks anything that
makes the receptors work less efficiently. In this way it contributes to the treatment of numerous
diseases such as neurological, autoimmune diseases, etc.

CBD oils are administered orally, with the use of the dropper they contain, it is good to hold the
drops for a few seconds under the tongue for better absorption by the body. The dosage varies
depending on the user and the case for which he uses CBD oil.

CBD (cannabidiol) oil is a medicinal product and has a high concentration of the beneficial substance
cannabidiol. Cannabis oil is produced from Cannabis seeds and does not contain cannabidiol, in
essence it is an oil that can be added to the foods we consume and has great nutritional value.

Cannabidiol is a natural product that is completely safe to use. Research has shown that it does not
cause side effects, in case of overdose the only side effect is excessive relaxation or drowsiness.
